President of Yemen Friendship and Solidarity Association Dr. Abdulraqeb Obad and the accompanying delegation visited the Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya in his office. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel and Foreign Affairs Office Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Erman Akıllı accompanied Rector Karakaya during the visit taking place on the date of 12 March 2019. 

President of Yemen Friendship and Solidarity Association Dr. Abdulraqeb Obad mentioned about the importance of the cooperation between Yemen and Turkey and stressed that relationship should be developed. He also made a request about increasing the number of the students who study at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and said that it is important for them these students who take education in Turkey go back to Yemen and serve their country.

Rector Karakaya said that they care about the friendly relationship between Turkey and Yemen and the relations will be stronger and he expressed his sincere thanks to President of Yemen Friendship and Solidarity Association Dr. Abdulraqeb Obad and the accompanying delegation on their visit. 

At the end of the visit, President of Yemen Friendship and Solidarity Association Dr. Abdulraqeb Obad presented a gift to Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya.
